Gangland crime boss laid to rest

Notorious crime boss Eamon Dunne has been laid to rest.

The 34-year-old was shot dead as he sat drinking in the Faussagh House Pub in Cabra on April 23.

Shortly before his funeral service - which took place at the Church of the Holy Family in Stoneybatter - his parents appealed for it to be "quiet and dignified".

Around 300 people attended the mass which was surrounded by tight Garda security for fear of violence by rival gangs

Dunne was buried in Dardistown Cemetery.
