Aylward surrenders pension

Fianna Fáil MEP Liam Aylward is foregoing his ministerial pension, it was announced today.

Aylward has written to the Minister for Finance to confirm his intention to waive the payment while sitting in the European Parliament.

He received €12,161.68 last year.
