EirGrid to create 300 jobs

About 300 jobs are to be created by upgrade work on the country's electricity transmission network, it was revealed today.

EirGrid, the company in charge of power grids, sub-stations and lines, said the infrastructure work would support high quality supplies, renewable energy and high-tech industries.
