Energy prices will not decrease dramaticaly, says Regulator

The Energy Regulator is today cautioning customers not to expect dramatic reductions in energy bills when the electricity market is fully opened to competition.

The Commission for Energy Regulation today announced it will step back from setting ESB prices as early as next year and will then allow the semi-state body to set its own prices.
