Man held after cannabis factory found

One man was arrested after a suspected cannabis factory was uncovered in Co Tyrone, police said today.

The 49-year-old Chinese national was arrested after officers carried out a planned search of a house on the Dromore Road in Fintona at 8pm last night.

Police said they discovered 300 plants plus other materials in the building.

The man who was arrested is helping police with their inquiries.
