Religious orders named in the Ryan Report on clerical sex abuse are meeting the Taoiseach today to finalise a deal on compensation for victims.

The 18 orders have been in negotiation with the Government for almost a year on providing funds and support.

Brian Cowen is also expected to meet representatives of survivors of abuse groups later this evening.
