The president of SIPTU says he believes the public sector pay-and-reform deal "is worthy of serious consideration".

The executive committee of the country's largest union will now begin to engage with its branches, after yesterday recommending to its 70,000 members that they vote for the "Croke Park" accord, and before members vote on the deal in a secret ballot.
