Teen 'wielded sledgehammer at gardaí'
A 17-year-old boy who wielded a sledgehammer at gardaí during a feud-related mini riot, has been remanded on continuing bail pending sentence at the Dublin Children’s Court.
The first-time offender pleaded guilty to being intoxicated in public, breach of the peace, production of the sledgehammer as a weapon during a dispute and violent disorder, at a north Dublin housing estate on a date last August.
