Group calls for contact centres for lone parent children

The support group for lone parents, One Family, is calling for dozens of child contact centres to be established in Ireland.

The group said the neutral meeting places are vital for children from estranged families, particularly for those with high levels of conflict.

They are largely unavailable in Ireland despite the fact that they are common in the UK.
