Talks continue in fight to save Quinn Insurance

Talks aimed at saving the beleaguered Quinn Insurance firm will resume today as Anglo Irish Bank seeks to take it over ahead of an administration hearing in the High Court tomorrow.

Officials from the state-owned bank are negotiating with the Financial Regulator about a possible rescue package for the insurance arm of the Quinn Group.
