Ninety new energy jobs for Dublin and Cork

Ninety new jobs are being created around the country over the next year.

The positions are being created by Sierra Support Services, which installs and maintains Bord Gais boilers.

The jobs will be rolled out in the administration and building services areas over the next 12 months, with the majority of them will be based in Dublin and Cork.

Managing Director TJ Malone said winning the contract with Bord Gais was vital in creating the jobs. The contract is worth up to €60m to the company.

The option exists to extend the contract for a further two years bringing its value up to about €100m.
