Probe into Longford burglary attempt

An investigation is underway in Longford after an aggravated burglary early this morning.

Two culprits entered the home of a couple in Ballinalee wearing balaclavas and demanded money.

The occupants were then hit with a bar.

The two raiders subsequently fled the scene with no cash.
