Up to 18,000 NI homes without electricity

Authorities are working round to clock to restore power in the North after Tuesday night's snow storms.

Up to 100,000 homes and businesses suffered power cuts due to the weather conditions and 18,000 are still affected.

Parts of North Antrim have been particularly hard hit by the severe weather.

Northern Ireland Electricity have said they are hoping to restore power to most affected homes by today.
