Snowfall sees Sally Gap deemed impassable

The AA is today advising motorists to avoid the Sally Gap in the Wicklow mountains, due to heavy snowfall.

The Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue team say they are having difficulties in snow depths of up to three feet.

The Wicklow Gap is passable, but with care.
