Thousands of homes without power in North

Around 25,000 homes across the North are still without power this morning.

The areas worst hit are in Omagh, Derry, Coleraine and Ballymoney.

NIE says they are calling in extra staff from the rest of the UK and Ireland to help deal with hundreds of faults.

The ESB says it has restored power to almost all of its customers affected by yesterday's outtage in northern and midlands counties.
