Two thirds of the swine flu vaccine is said to remain unused - as the national swine flu vaccination programme comes to an end this week.

Two thirds of the swine flu vaccine is said to remain unused - as the national swine flu vaccination programme comes to an end this week.

According to the Irish Time, the HSE is in talks with Glaxo-Smith-Kline - as to how to manage the surplus vaccine - which cost the government €12.8m.

It is understood a store of the vaccine will be kept in the event of future pandemics.
