Visiting ban in place as vomiting bug hits Limerick's main hospital

A total ban on visiting is in place at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick due to an escalation of the winter vomiting bug.

There are four confirmed cases in four areas of the hospital and strict infection control precautions have been implemented.
