Fine Gael has said Brian Cowen made a "rushed decision" when he signed off on the purchase of the Irish Glass Bottle site in Ringsend in Dublin, exposing the taxpayer to the tune of €500m.

The party's Environment Spokesperson Phil Hogan has published freedom of information documents this afternoon relating to the purchase of the site by the Dublin Docklands Development Authority.
