Court rules against gardaí

The High Court has ruled that rank-and-file gardaí must pay the pension levy.

The Garda Represenatative Association had taken a legal challenge against the Finance Minister Brian Lenihan, claiming its members should be exempt from the levy because of their "unique situation".
