Cork man fights for life after Sydney attack

The family of a Cork man who is fighting for his life after being attacked in Australia have flown to the country to be by his bedside.

Paddy Fox, 29, from Kildorrery suffered serious head injuries following the incident in Sydney on Sunday.

It is understood he fell to the ground and hit his head after being struck.

Police say a 19-year-old has been arrested in connection with the incident and charged with recklessly inflicting grievous bodily harm.
