Around 70,000 people turned up for the St Patrick's Day parade in Limerick, led by Munster rugby hero Keith Earls.

The theme of the parade was "I Love Limerick" and more than 3,700 participants featured.

Meanwhile, tens of thousands of people lined the streets of Cork, for one of the biggest parades seen in the city in recent years.

Lord Mayor Dara Murphy says it's given people a boost after what's been a tough few months.
