A man accused of shooting another man in the head as he slept is due to go on trial at the Central Criminal Court on Thursday.

Trevor McCabe (aged 35), of Mountpleasant, Ballyconnell, Co Cavan has pleaded not guilty to murdering Darren McGrath at his home in Belturbet, Cavan in May 2008.
