Cowen: No plans for Obama visit

Taoiseach Brian Cowen has today poured cold water on reports that US President Barack Obama is to visit Ireland next June.

Speaking on his way to take part in the St Patrick's Day parade in Chicago, Cowen said there are currently no plans for a presidential visit.
