Bill introduced to end dual salaries from MLAs

MPs sitting in both the British House of Commons and the Northern Ireland Assembly should not receive two salaries, the UK government said today.

Northern Ireland minister Paul Goggins introduced a Bill in the Commons that means politicians can sit in both parliaments but will only get paid to be an MP.
