A jury of nine women and three men was sworn in today for the trial of a man charged with murdering a 62-year-old retired barman in October 2009 at High Street in Cork.

Paul Murphy, aged 25, of 57 Kilmore Road, Knocknaheeny, Cork, was arraigned at the Central Criminal Court sitting at Washington Street courthouse in Cork.
