A jury has been sworn in at the Central Criminal Court to try a man charged with murdering another man in Mountjoy Prison in 2007.

Declan O’Reilly (aged 29) of Parnell Road, Crumlin in Dublin has pleaded not guilty to the murder of 24-year-old Derek Glennon on June 25, 2007.

A jury of five women and seven men has been sworn in to hear the one-week trial, which will start on Friday.
