Two people were taken to hospital today after being attacked with incapacitant spray during a robbery at a jewellery shop.

Two people were taken to hospital today after being attacked with incapacitant spray during a robbery at a jewellery shop.

Investigating gardaĂ­ said two men held up the premises in Athlone at around 1.30pm.
