The Irish Taxation Institute is calling for a commitment from the Government to bring the top combined rate of income tax and PRSI below 50% by 2012 to support job creation.

The Irish Taxation Institute is calling for a commitment from the Government to bring the top combined rate of income tax and PRSI below 50% by 2012 to support job creation.

Marginal rates of tax are now as high as 55% for some earners when income tax, PRSI contributions and levies are included.
