Sargent facing questions over letter to gardaí

A junior Government minister was called on today to explain his actions after admitting writing to a garda urging officers to re-examine a prosecution.

Trevor Sargent, Green Party TD for Dublin North, said he approached authorities after a constituent asked for his help over a looming court case.
