Gormley to meet Taoiseach over O'Dea controversy
The Green Party leader John Gormley is meeting the Taoiseach Brian Cowen this evening to discuss the ongoing WIllie O'Dea controversy.
Mr Gormley's talks with Mr Cowen follows a day-long crisis meeting of the Green's Parliamentary Party.
The Taoiseach earlier gave his backing to Willie O'Dea following his defamatory statements against the Sinn Féin councillor Maurice Quinlivan.
Green Party Chairman Dan Boyle has already described Minister O'Dea as "compromised".
