Gardaí appeal for witnesses as body found in Mullingar

A post mortem will be carried out this afternoon on the body of a man found in Co. Westmeath this morning.

The man - who's believed to have been in his thirties - was found at an apartment in Grove Street in Mullingar.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.

Gardaí are asking anyone who witnessed unusual behaviour in the Grove Street area between 6pm yesterday evening and 9am this morning to contact them.
