Some €23m in EU funding for the retraining of former Dell workers will be drawn down by the Government today.

Some €23m in EU funding for the retraining of former Dell workers will be drawn down by the Government today.

The Globalisation Fund money will be used to help the 2,400 people who were made redundant from the Limerick company.

The money can be used for those who want to return to education or to give financial aid to people who want to set up a new business.

A team from Europe will visit Limerick to see how the funding is being used.
