A homeless British man on trial for murdering a young Dubliner, stabbed her in the back six times puncturing her lungs and causing them to collapse, the Central Criminal Court has heard today.

A homeless British man on trial for murdering a young Dubliner, stabbed her in the back six times puncturing her lungs and causing them to collapse, the Central Criminal Court has heard today.

The jury in the Clive Butcher murder trial was told that 28-year-old Rebecca Hoban suffered life-threatening injuries to the lungs, and inhaled an extensive amount of blood as a result of the knife wounds inflicted by the accused.
