Sinn Féin negotiators leave talks to consult party

Sinn Féin negotiators have left talks at Hillsborough Castle to meet with party colleagues.

They are to assess if enough progress has been made with the DUP on devolution of policing and justice powers.

A deadline imposed by the Irish and British governments to reach agreement passed this afternoon.

But both sides are said to be prepared to continue negotiations into the night.
