Armed men steal bank cash
Two armed and masked men held up a bank in Co Tyrone today.
The raiders used a rifle to demand money from cashiers in the Ulster Bank in the Square in Stewartstown, before escaping in a blue car.
The old-style Vauxhall Astra was later found on fire in the Derryloughan Road.
Police said the armed men got away with an undisclosed sum of cash at around noon and urged anyone who may have seen the car, registration SJI 2574, before or after the hold-up to come forward.
Detectives believe the robbers may have transferred to another vehicle before setting fire to the first getaway car.
