Teachers planning work-to-rule action

Teachers are planning withdraw from extracurricular activities as unions step up their campaign against Government pay cuts.

Teachers faced a average pay cut of 13% in the past year due to the pension levy and pay cuts.

As well as the work-to-rule action, teaching unions have also agreed a blanket refusal to co-operate with the new proposals for the public sector.
