A man arrested by police investigating the murders of two soldiers in the North has been released unconditionally, police said.

The 44-year-old was arrested yesterday in the Toomebridge area of Co Antrim over the murders of the two soldiers and the attempted murders of five other people in a dissident republican gun attack at the Massereene Barracks in Co Antrim last March.
