Flogas pledges to implement gas price cut

The Finance Minister is tonight defending the Government's decision to hold a private inquiry into the banking crisis.

Flogas Natural Gas will continue to be 9% cheaper than Bord Gais for new residential customers after the reduced natural gas price takes effect on February 1, the company has said.

This discount will remain in place until the next review of natural gas prices by the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER), currently scheduled for September 2010.
