Reports: Cavan native found dead in Haiti
The Department of Foreign Affairs is investigating reports that the body of a US citizen, orginally from Co. Cavan, has been found in Haiti.
Andrew Greene was working at the United Nations building in the capital Port Au-Prince which collapsed in last week's quake.
He was raised in Co. Cavan but lived most of his life in Chicago.
Meanwhile, the UN Security Council is expected to approve a request for 3,500 extra UN troops and police to be deployed to Haiti, just a week after the devastating earthquake.
It comes as lawlessness increases on the streets of the stricken Haitian capital.
