Woman hospitalised following Dublin assault

A woman is her 30s is in a serious condition in hospital following an attack in Dublin.

The incident happened at a flat on Blessington Street at around 11pm last night.

She was rushed to the Mater Hospital with head and facial injuries but was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital, where she remains in a serious condition.

A man who was also in the flat was injured and taken to hospital with injuries to his hands.
