Black ice a problem for motorists

AA Roadwatch is warning that black ice is a big problem around the country this morning, with slippery conditions reported on several routes nationwide.

Motorists are being urged to drive with extreme care on all routes.

Elsewhere, the Wicklow-Arklow rail line remains flooded this morning.

Iarnroid Éireann says bus transfers will be operating.

Bus transfers will also serve Rathdrum today as flooding has receded there.

Flooding remains a problem in parts of Kilkenny also but flood waters have receded in Wexford, Cork and Tipperary.
