Two men dead in Dublin shooting

Two men have been killed following a gun attack in Dublin City centre.

The shooting happened this evening at a flat complex on Dublin's Pearse Street and Gardai have arrested three men and a woman for questioning over the attack.

Gardai were called to the scene at the Pearse House flat complex on Dublin's Pearse Street just before 7pm this evening.

One the men had sustained injuries to his head and was rushed to St. James' Hospital, where was later pronounced dead.

The second man received injuries to his chest and was pronounced dead at St. Vincents Hospital.

The scene has now been sealed off for a full technical examination and the State Pathlogist's Office has been notified.

Gardai at Pearse Street are handling the investigation.
