Most bus services in the east of the country are operating with some delays, especially in the east.

There is disruption to services to and from the south east. The following services are cancelled:

Route 2 7.30pm Rosslare/Dublin Airport. 01.00 Dublin Airport/Rosslare.

Route 4 4pm Dublin/Waterford.

Route 5 Dublin-Waterford via Tullow cancelled for the moment.

Route 7 Clonmel-Dublin.

366 5pm Cork/Dungourney

73 9.20pm Athlone/Waterford.

In the east, the 5.30pm Dublin Airport-Wicklow and 5.30pm Wicklow-Dublin Airport services are cancelled.

190 Laytown-Drogheda service is cancelled.

In Cork, 246 Cork-Sarsfield Court is cancelled. There are diversions on services 233, 206, 222, and 223.

Route 40 Cork-Tralee is unable to serve Millstreet.

"Given the snow forecast for today throughout the country, Bus Éireann will continue to monitor this situation closely and we would advise customers to contact their local travel office for information on individual services or visit www.buseireann.ie," said a statement.

"Bus Éireann would like to apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused."
