Christmas Day cathedral fire 'not suspicious'

Gardaí are not treating a fire at St Mel's Cathedral in Longford as suspicious.

A technical examination of the site has now been completed following the fire on Christmas Day.

Millions of euro worth of damage has been caused to the building, which was built in the 1840's.
