Bus Éireann services still disrupted
The adverse weather conditions were continuing to disrupt bus schedules today with Bus Éireann this afternoon saying some services were affected in Cork, the south west, north Leinster, and the north west.
In a statement the company said most services were operating nationwide "with some delays".
In Cork city, there are a number of diversions in place on roads that are affecting a number of city services. Several services in West Cork are unable to operate or are diverted, the company said.
In Limerick city, two services are operating, but with delays and diversions. All other Limerick city services are cancelled for the moment.
In Clare, services via Doolin, Kilkee and Cliffs of Moher are not operating at present.
In Kerry, there is disruption to services travelling to Tralee from Caherciveen and Dingle.
In Leinster, there is disruption to services operating to Togher, Laytown, Rathoath, Rathangan, and Granard.
In the north west, there are significant delays on routes Donegal-Dublin, Sligo-Dublin, Sligo-Enniskillen. The Dublin-Donegal service is cancelled at the moment.
"Bus Éireann will continue to monitor this situation closely and we would advise customers to contact their local travel office for information on individual services or visit www.buseireann.ie for further details," the company said.
"Road conditions in affected areas are expected to worsen this evening as the temperature drops."
