Thousands expected at Daly funeral

Thousands of mourners are expected to turn out for the funeral of Cardinal Cahal Daly at St Patrick's Cathedral in Armagh later.

The 92-year-old died on Thursday after a short illness.

The President and the Taoiseach are expected to be among the mourners at today's mass, which will be celebrated by Cardinal Sean Brady.

A message from the Pope paying tribute to Cahal Daly will be read out at the end of the ceremony.
