Most bus services operational in cold weather

The majority of Bus Éireann services are operating as normal this morning with some delays.

However due to continuing adverse weather and road conditions, the following services are affected:

186 Drogheda-Grangebellew-Togher, and

163 Drogheda-Togher cancelled at moment

190 Drogheda-Laytown 7.30am service cancelled

103 Dublin-Rathoath– unable to operate between Ashbourne and Rathoath

115 Dublin-Longford – unable to operate via Killicuan

111 Dublin-Granard – unable to operate via Killdalkey

126 Dublin-Kildare – unable to operate via Rathangan

166 Dundalk-Cavan – can only operate to Carricmacross

Several roads in Limerick are very icy this morning and Bus Éireann are reviewing services to and from Limerick on a route-by-route basis.

"Bus Éireann will continue to monitor this situation closely and we would advise customers travelling to and from Leinster and Limerick especially to contact their local travel office for information on individual services," said a company statement.

"Bus Éireann would like to apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused."
