Crash disrupts N7 traffic

Two inbound lanes of the N7 Naas Road in Dublin have been closed at Newlands Cross due to a crash.

It is understood a car and a truck collided.

Two fire engines and two ambulances have been dispatched to the scene.

The road inbound is expected to be closed for a number of hours.

The AA says motorists should avoid the Naas Road, Belgard Road and Fonthill Road until further notice.

The outbound lanes have not been affected.
