Man in serious condition after Galway assault

A 27-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital following an assault in Galway City.

A 27-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital following an assault in Galway City.

It happened on Dominic Street in the City at 3.30am this morning.

The victim was rushed to University College Hospital in Galway.

He has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
