Two men were today charged following the North’s largest cocaine seizure.

Two men were today charged following the North’s largest cocaine seizure.

The suspects, aged 38 and 47, were detained after police stopped two vehicles in the Boucher Road area of west Belfast yesterday and discovered £5m (€5.6m) worth of the drugs.

They are charged with a number of drugs offences including conspiracy to supply and will appear at Laganside Magistrates Court in Belfast tomorrow.

A 29-year-old man, also arrested yesterday, remains in custody.
